The Monroe County Board of Education and Superintendent, Dr. Joetta Basile, recognized the Monroe County Middle School Science Fair Winners and their Science Teachers Jan. 3rd, 2023. Peterstown Middle School and Mountain View Middle School each held Science Fairs during the 2022 fall semester and the first-place winners of that competition advanced to the county level Science Fair on Dec. 13th, 2022. The county level fair was honorably judged by David Johnson and Jessica Thomas. Their Science teachers, Ashley Williams and Catherine Dransfield, were recognized for their instructional guidance and supportive role in Science Education.
