September Pirate Press Newpaper: In September of 2023, students at Peterstown Middle School started Empower Our. A variety of companies focus on Career Exploration, Workplace Simulation, and Project Based Learning. One of those companies is our School Newspaper. They will be bringing us monthly reports of what is happening at Peterstown Middle School.
Monroe County Schools will be closed on Friday, November 10th in honor of Veteran's Day.
Monroe County Schools would like to invite you to county wide open houses at each school on Thursday, November 9th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Our school’s American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge will begin on 10/26! We are asking you to register for our Kids Heart Challenge team and help us reach our goal of 100% of our families learning the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR.

If your child is in 6th or 7th grade at PMS please make sure they have submitted their dental consent form to their teacher or their school's nurse if they wish to participate. Gear Up Family Night
The Peterstown Middle School ballgame for tomorrow, September 14, has been moved to 7 pm. Gates will open at 5:45.
We are pleased to inform you that students who took the West Virginia General Summative Assessment in spring 2023 has received an email at their K12 student email account containing a link to an individual student video score report. Please have your child check his or her student email account for the link. Simply click on the link and enter your child’s date of birth to access the video score report customized specifically for your child. Be sure to check out the links to resources that also are provided. If you have any difficulty accessing the report, please contact your child’s school for assistance.

All Chromebook should be turned in at this time. Lost charger fee is $30 and needs to be paid at the time of return.
Peterstown Wellness Center is now offering Sport Physicals for the upcoming 2023-2024 School year. If you are interested please contact your child’s school wellness center at (304)753-4336 Ext 400. Attached is the sports physical forms you can fill out in advance or request one to be sent home with your child from school.

Attention parents of sixth grade students, please remember your student must submit proof of their required vaccines, well child within the last 12 months and dental exam in the last 12 months prior to the first day of seventh grade.
