A select group of JMHS students departed for Atlanta, GA to participate in the 2022 Georgia Tech Model United Nations. These twelve students wrote and presented position papers on a current affairs topic to compete locally for the opportunity to attend this conference. These students will participate in a forum that facilitates interaction on topics of international affairs, politics and relations. There will be representatives from all across the nation to debate, advocate and creatively present solutions to pressing international concerns, policy development and future development.

The Pride of West Virginia, the WVU Band, will be at James Monroe High School to perform Thursday, September 22nd at 1:30 pm. We welcome the community to join us beginning at 1:00 pm. The public will not be allowed to bring any bags, backpacks, purses, boxes, etc.
