Math students in 7th grade had an impromptu lesson about symmetry this morning, when they were able to add their third part for Mr. Potato Head since they had another day of perfect homeroom attendance. Mrs. McPherson and a few students wanted to ensure Mr. Potato Head received his other ear so he would be symmetrical, but the majority of the class voted to forego equilibrium and preferred to prioritize olfactory. It was a highly controversial and debated decision.

8th grade students at PMS participated in a multicultural activity called “Christmas Around the World”.  Students learned about Hanukkah traditions, celebrations in Japan and Sweden, and Christmas experiences during the frontier times.  Students enjoyed playing a game, learning a dance, making butter, making a craft, and taking a virtual tour.

Yesterday PMS students had the opportunity to participate in the “Get A Life” program.  A huge thank you to Mrs. Tami Brown for organizing this each year and to the community members who help make this possible.  Students got a real world simulation of what life can be like with an education verses without one.
