The Monroe County School Board recognized students from Georgia Tech MUN, Harvard MUN, and YLA MUN at their board meeting on November 1, 2022.


CIS coordinator, Lezli Baker, received a huge donation of hygiene bags for students! We are excited to give these to our students and help them learn about good hygiene.

Last week perfect attendance winners for PES! Way to go.


MCTC's Law and Public Safety program participated in trunk or treat on Halloween night. The advisor, Mr. David Richmond, and students LeiAnn Richmond and Jadyn Bradley gave out treats and provided a safe Halloween experience for lots of children. The Law and Public Safety students participate in the annual event as a service learning and safety project.

Today, students enjoyed organic, locally grown baked potatoes for lunch. These potatoes were raised by J & K Farms in Frankford, WV and prepared by the hard-working cooks in Monroe County Schools. Thank you to the cooks for your dedication in feeding our students.
