Mrs. Altice’s class at PES learned a new multiplication strategy today during math. Her students were rocking their multiplication while doing vertical learning!







Due to a vehicle accident on Route 3, bus 220, Flat Mountain, and bus 225, Moncove Lake will be at least 20 minutes late this morning.

Parents, we have used all of our NTID days (snow packet days) and the five forgiven snow days. Since we had to close on 2-20 and 2-21 of last week, the following days are now being converted into instructional days for students: June 9th and June 10th. As of now, June 10th will be the last day for students.

Students from Mr. Hill and Mr. Boone's Intro to Ag classes traveled to the Willowbend Agriculture Innovation Center to assist with preparing Ewes for lambing. Students were able to get hands-on experience with vaccinations, proper handling of syringes, needles, and vaccines, Famacha Scoring for parasite load sheep handling techniques, and hoof trimming. All of this was done to ensure a successful and healthy lambing season for the sheep flock at the farm. They were instructed by County Agent Brian Wickline, Farm Manager Ty Judy, and Ag teacher Shawn Hill.

Due to road conditions on Lower Mill Rd in Peterstown, students that live on Lower Mill and the Mill Village apartments will need to meet bus 217 at the intersection of Lower Mill Rd and Mill St at their regularly scheduled pickup time.

James Monroe High School is hosting a mobile history display titled, “Born of Rebellion,” which shares the Civil War history of WV. Located in the hallway near the gym entrance, it is open to the community during all public events and to students during school hours. It was created by the WV Humanities Council and will be on display until March 18.
