AJ set a goal at the beginning of the year to have perfect attendance and he achieved it! He is the only student at PES to have perfect attendance! Way to go AJ!

New Enrollment Information



Even as the school year winds down, learning continues in Mr. Hancock’s Biomedical Science classes at MCTC. Students are constructing nervous systems.



Monroe County FFA placed 1st in Land judging as a team and 2nd in Homesite Evaluation at our Regional Contest held at the Willowbend Research Farm. This will allow them to represent the Southeastern Region at the State Contest in July!

Cole Martin was also part of the team.
Shailyn Wickline, Kenzy Wade and Aydin Kleinfelter also attended and helped with set up, food preparation and assisted with the contest running cards.

It sure was a fun week in preschool to wrap up the year. KLC wants to wish you all a safe and happy summer!










On May 23 the PMS drama club hosted dinner and a show. It was amazing!

5th grade students at PMS had a wonderful time at the Wytheville Community Center.











”If you don’t know what it is, stay away!” Preschoolers learned all about poison prevention in a fun and interactive way.









The 8th grade students at Peterstown Middle want to thank the sponsors who helped make their 8th grade trip to Carowinds a reality this year- (please note the phone number for Sugar Mountain is a 540 number, not 304)


After spending a day dissecting frogs in 8th grade, the students were happy that frog legs were not the menu item for lunch. Just kidding! They had a great time learning some science today (and the nachos were awesome too!)
